A Notice To Our Valued Patrons
As we all begin to understand and react to the growing concern over the World Health Organization’s declaration of the Corona Virus as a Pandemic, we here at 1850 Wine Cellars want to assure you that the health and safety of our guests are of paramount importance.
We have always practiced the industry’s most rigorous cleaning and sanitation practices:
- Specialty high temp and sanitizing dish machines for cleaning and sanitizing glassware and utensils.
- Comprehensive daily cleaning schedules for all facilities.
- Paid time off for any employees who indicate they need time off in order to ensure they are not coming to work with any communicable diseases.
We have evaluated these practices and have implemented even more rigorous standards in order to improve our efforts to safeguard any and all of our visitors and staff. We are also working with our local health officials as they update us with more information and will implement any sanitation practices or other recommendations they may have to continue to improve our facility's conditions and customer service practices.
The well-being of our families, our guests, and our team members is always our highest priority and we will continue to monitor this situation through our local and national health organizations. Like you, our hearts go out to all of those who have been affected by the virus.
We believe it is our responsibility to be here for our guests and community. Therefore, we have every intention of keeping our tasting room open. If you choose to come in and join us, we thank you! As always, we invite you to join us when and if you can and assure you that we are doing everything we can (short of closing) to ensure your visit is a safe and enjoyable one.
